Vitanota Lets Drum Takes Breathe Across Seven-Minute Deep House Cut 'Babushka'

Vitanota dodges the usual three-minute streaming edits on 'Babushka', letting the track stretch out past the seven-minute mark. Rather than snapping everything to an aggressive, quantized grid, the Morocco based producer tracked acoustic drum takes and live hand percussion directly into the mix, giving the low end a loose, human swing.

The arrangement builds slowly, stacking warm low-mid pads and subtle percussive details without rushing into dramatic drops or pitch-riser tricks. It feels closer to an extended basement DJ tool than a festival single, prioritizing room tone and steady movement from start to finish.
