saintesochi drops Pink Floyd-influenced first single 'Reasons' for upcoming project

Montreal native saintesochi steps out with 'Reasons', a self-produced cut mixing melodic rap and heavy psychedelic layers. The track actually started as a raw acoustic reference. Now it revolves entirely around a distinct bass groove and sharp vocal delivery, pulling subtle cues from Asap Rocky and Pink Floyd.

This song is a direct preview of 'Ophelia', his upcoming 15-track debut project. He handles the entire production, mixing and mastering process himself. By using the Hamlet story as a loose framework for his own experiences with love and longing, he creates a late-night drive atmosphere that feels grounded and real.

For this specific track, however, he teamed up with frequent collaborator Alexandre Boivin, who laid down the synths and worked with him to rework the bassline and the final mix.
