Narcohypnotic Drags Trip Hop Through Dirt on 'Paralytic Debris'

Daniel S started 'Paralytic Debris' in Logic with a dead-slow trip hop groove and a looping pad, intending to let the room breathe before tearing it apart. The breaking point arrives midway through, when mixing engineer Greg Dawson of BWC Studio steps in with a blunt, down-tuned doom riff that hijacks the entire rhythm and drags it into sludge territory.

Instead of staying buried in the dirt, the track claws back out through warped synth lines, rattled toms, and broken, alienated vocal takes before collapsing into static. It pulls blood from both Nine Inch Nails and Acid Bath, serving as a bleak first look at Narcohypnotic's upcoming full-length, Death Disc.
