Philadelphia and South New Jersey five-piece Likely Story released their debut EP, 'Make yourself believe it’s just you and me'. Tracked at Gradwell House with engineer Matt Webber, the release leans on classic tube setups, pushing Marshall, Bad Cat, and Fender amps through driving pop punk arrangements. The songs move fast between quiet intros and full-throttle guitar hooks.
From early single 'On the fence' to energetic tracks like 'Up in smokes', the EP highlights versatile songwriting and live-room drive. The studio production keeps things punchy and grounded, capturing mid-2000s punk dynamics without over-editing the performance.
