Got.Knees - Well

UK solo project Got.Knees drops 'Well', a gloomy alternative rock track serving as a centerpiece for a longer album dealing with deep depression. Tracked at home over five years using guitars, bass, and subtle electronic layers, the song sets distorted guitar walls against quiet, whispered vocal takes. Lyrically, lines like 'my throat is dry, my feet they bleed' offer a direct, unpolished look at mental exhaustion.

The arrangement skips standard pop hooks to build a dense, heavy atmosphere that borders on ambient rock. Got.Knees avoids slick production, letting dry drum takes and raw fuzz carry the emotional weight. It lands as a stark, uncompromising track from the UK underground.
