GhostGirl tracked her five-song EP 'Nocturnal' right from a London bedroom, printing vocal takes directly into Logic Pro X without burying them under studio gloss. She built the backdrop alongside scene beatmakers IOF, BonnieRoggerr, and Saint Mike, before bringing in Matthew Parisi to clean up the mix and master while leaving the rough edges alone.
The songs move fast between low-tuned guitars, heavy downbeats, and vocal lines that sound closer to late-90s alternative rock than clean modern radio pop. It feels personal and urgent, getting its weight from simple, honest execution instead of layered digital polish.
