Marking his first time trying this style, US producer Eyelight ran 'Preachers tuck' through round after round of tweaks in FL Studio, nearly tossing the Tracklib sample out before figuring out how to make it sit right. Taking cues from his own dreams, ambient rap, and 90s R&B, he threw the track together using free plugins grabbed from Reddit and an uncredited drum kit, keeping his focus locked on the vocal chop. Running at 150 BPM, the finished tune feels built for a late night drive, landing with a dark, magical mood that came straight out of trial and error.
