Cuva Bimö drops the cynical post-punk cut '800 Meter Tears'
A fast, noise-heavy reaction to societal collapse from the Bay Area underground.

Cuva Bimö just dropped '800 Meter Tears', closing out the singles run for their upcoming record 'New Western Values'. The Bay Area crew knocked the track out in a single day at Cactus House Recording in San Jose. It is a cynical, noise-heavy reaction to everyday political paranoia, driven by dueling guitars and a tense, angular rhythm section pulling straight from Minutemen and Gang of Four.
The structure breaks down mid-track into a paranoid spoken-word bridge. It hits a solid balance between 90s grunge dirt and sharp post-punk aggression. It is a raw, fast cut documenting the current state of societal collapse before the full album drops this September via Sell the Heart Records.
