Con Jr. drops Worth My Time

Conner Lee spends his days turning wrenches as a mechanic and his nights writing songs under the name Con Jr. His track, 'Worth My Time', came together after he hit a brutal low point in his life. Instead of staying down, he threw that weight into his music. The result is a gritty, factual piece of emo rap built for late-night drives after a bad breakup, balancing heavy chest-pain with a quiet determination to move forward.

There is zero industry gloss on this record. Con Jr. tracked the song in BandLab using a basic MXL 990 condenser mic plugged into a Behringer UMC22 interface, keeping the effects to a bare minimum. Drawing clear lines from underground staples like Lil Peep and Wicca Phase Springs Eternal, the focus stays entirely on the raw vocal delivery and an independent mix that lets the real-life grit cut right through the speakers.
